New Canon PowerShot SD1000

My dad recently gave my mom a new camera that is handy and small. I took out the new camera out for a spin yesterday and I think its picture quality is pretty good for such a tiny frame. I wish it had more manual functions but it is a simplistic camera that is meant for point and shoot. I definitely recommend this camera to the casual photographer who needs an on-the-go or social camera.

I came across these flowers at the Hindu Temple in Bridgewater. On the way back, I came across some deer. I have to say that the deer population here is booming and almost at every corner I see another deer or fawn. Enjoy.

Morning Kedar,
Nice action shot of that Deer. Wow. And the Lillies are gorgeous. Yes, not bad for that type of camera at all. I've got a Canon Power Shot S3 IS. Got it last summer. It has an automatic feature but many SLR features as well. Still learning how to use it. :) Ciao Heather

Hi there! yeah ... i have a Canon PowerShot also, but way older model (A540)- has been through hell and fire with me through the past 4years. nevertheless i always love to believe that its not the camera that takes a picture, but a person behind the camera and your pictures are just soo lovely! good work!!! with the small cameras its the photoshop that will save your day finally making it possible to crop out objects that you were not able to zoom in as much as you wanted :D
